Heres a large meat cleaver forged from 5160.The blade was forged under my 24 ton press then final forging was done by hand.Tip of the spine is 3/8ths inch thick tapering back to 1/4 at the butt of the handle.Cutting edge is 8 1/4 and overall is 13 1/2.Blade has been clay quenched and finished with a fine scotch bright belt .Handle is green paracord soaked in epoxy for a good grip.No sheath.$140.00 shipped in the U.S.I take paypal.

Do you have a pic from the front, showing the profile from spine to edge?

Would it work for kitchen food prep?

Yes its good for the kitchen,my brother in law works at a large chinese restaurant and used it for two days, now he wants one.
