Got a really well executed knife for you guys. I originally bought this from cardman, a new maker here. This was the sale thread, with all technical specs etc.: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...heath-ferro-rod-and-dc3-stone?highlight=knife

I've carried it all summer on hikes and camping trips and put it through it's paces, and it does not disappoint. I forced a patina on it user boiling vinegar (because, lets face it, 5160 and Washington weather just don't get along very well.) The fire steel and sharpening stone have both been used and both work pretty well.

It's a big thick knife, but cardman definitely knows how to grind a 1/4" blade. The edge is nice and thin and cuts quite well.

This is what it looks like today. Worn, but still very functional.

I paid $300 for this new, and I'm gonna ask $250 for it in it's used state. I take paypal, and the usual "I'll take it" rules apply.
