Here is the second of three in my Camp Chopper series. This is probably my favorite of the three. I didn't really like it when I was forging it and putting it together, but something about the finished knife I really like.
The blade is forged from a bar of 5160. It has been antiqued for a nice looking and durable finish. No worries about scratching this one. It is razor sharp, I will try to put in a video of me chopping some stuff with it.
The handle is Oak, wrapped with hemp chord and epoxied. The tang goes nearly to the end of the handle, which is quite large. It is designed so that when you are snicking off briers and brush, you can grab it right at the end and extend the grip a bit. My own camp knife has the same kind of handle and I love it.
The sheath is Wickett and Craig leather. It has a Sam Brown stud that holds it in the belt when you slip it in.
Dimensions
Blade - 8 3/4" tip to Turk's head knot
OAL - 16 1/4"
Price - $235 Shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

My 6 year old was the cameraman. He did a pretty good job I think.
