Here is a stout little fighter that I just finished up. Has great weight for its size, and feels great in the hand!

Blade:

5160 steel, heat treated by me in my evenheat kiln.
I heated the spine and tang for a spring temper.
OAL: 11 3/8"
Blade length: 6"
Width: 2 1/4" at the heel
Spine width: 7/32"
Hand stropped to a razor sharp edge

Handle:

Black linen micarta. Sanded to 320 grit so it still has good grip.
Attached with chainring bolts. No epoxy, so the handle is removable.
A paracord lanyard can be fed through the rear chainring bolt.

Comes with a kydex sheath, eyelets spaced at 1.5" for a large tek lok. There are a couple of superficial scratches on the blade from the kydex.

$185 USD shipped TYD in Conus and Canada. I will also ship to other areas, just email or PM me for a shipping quote. First to say I'll take it, followed by a PM or email gets it. Posted on multiple sites, so I will go by time stamp.

Comments welcomed.

I like it! It's raw....kinda like old school Metallica or something!

I've been doing a lot of smaller blades lately, so I wanted to make a big mean blade!

Also, I forgot to add a pic of the kydex. It's up above now.

Dude, that's big! Didn't look so big until your pic holding it.

Really nice work.

Thanks for the compliment. I also thought it looked small in the pictures, so I threw in a couple of me holding it.
