I forged this from 5160, it has been 2x's quenched, and 2x's tempered. It has a forged in tapered tang, and the blade is flat ground.

o.a. is about 8 3/16''. the blade has a 3 1/4'' cutting edge, and is satin finished.

the handle is maple and walnut saw dust that i mixed with a qualitity 2 part epoxy and then let cure. pins are nickle silver.

this is a pretty handy little knife, and feels nice which ever way ya hold it.

price shipped with a leather sheathw/pocket clip is $75

paypal and postal money orders accepted

paypal address is : a-takach@takachforge.com

thanks jack,

it was one of those that started out as one knife, but the finished product was nothing like it was supposed to be.:p

Well I think it is better as it is than what it was suppose to be and I am surprised at that price that it is still here . It is too neat of a knife to be here long .

Thank goodness - I promised myself not to buy anymore small knives but that was tempting, love the handle material idea!
