Here is one I forged from 5160. I forged the bevel in, then ground it. It has been antiqued, and I love the finish. The great thing about it is that you don't have to worry about scratching the pristine finish. It can chop all day and look basically like it does now.
The handle is a socket tang. I forge the handle area thin and wide, then fold it over. It has been wrapped in paracord with turks head knots, then coated in epoxy. It is not going to break.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It is designed for this knife and holds securely.
