5160 spring steel thats 3/16 inch thick

so i've been looking around for 5160 spring steel and i've found plenty of places to buy it, i've used it and loved it, but the thinnest i can find it is 1/4in. i want to make a certain sword, but with the shape the blade will be, 1/4 in will be too thick and heavy, and i dont want to spend hours grinding the whole blade to thin it out, plus i dont have any blacksmith supplies to hammer it out. does anyone know where i can get 5160 spring steel thats 3/16 inch thick?

Try calling NJsteelbaron. Ask them, they do surface grind steel so maybe they can get the .26 stock to .188 for you.
