Here's a Tanto I just finished up in .262 5160 steel. It has a glow in the dark cord wrap which has been epoxy soaked for a durable, water resistant handle. Heavy duty and made for hard use; easy to field sharpen. It comes set up with a tek-lok compatible sheath, with a tek-lok it can be carried normally, sideways, upside down, etc. It comes with a paracord necklace for occasional necker use but it is a big knife for that purpose. Heat treat done in my digitally controlled kiln.

Sole Authorship

.262 5160 steel
About 7.75" long
West System soaked GID cord handle
"knocker" end
Etched Plum Brown Barrel finish
Chisel Grind
Tek-lok compatible Kydex pocket or neck sheath

$80 Shipped Sold

Looks beastly like a prison shank.

Thanks, I think! :D My goal was to make a knife that looks like it was meant to be used but could take serious abuse and come out looking new.

Hard use look but made out of some of the best steel available and ground precision. The digitally controlled kiln heat treat helps ensure a quality product.
