5160 Vanguards.

I noticed they were still listed after all this time, and finally had stock.

I'm surprised they still were for sale.
 
think they found more warehouse finds. got email on it last week. was gonna post but couldn't figure out how not to deal spot..meanwhile you figured out how to post without deal spotting.

note to self ask Gary how to do it right, next time.
 
Not seeing it on the site...are they out of stock or am I missing something?
 
Is it really deal spotting if you can only get it from 1 place?

In my mind, deal spotting is talking about/naming a place where you can get a particular knife the cheapest.

And none of that applies to paid /dealer members if I'm correct....?

They are sorta cool knives tho.
If you like 5160, it's a nice grab.
Vanguards are probably my favorite fixed blades.

true on paid dealers. they used to be, not sure they are anymore...maybe?

Not to derail the thread, but how many varieties do you have? Love the vanguard, but have yet to own one. Bought several for friends though. Maybe time for my turn ;)
I should probably search to see if there is a picture thread dedicated to it.... off i go...
 
Would be a nice match for my 5160 and oak 110.
Now if they'd do a 301 with oak covers and three 5160 blades ... maybe with brass bolsters to match the 110.

I wonder if the 103 with 5160 will ever return ...
