The fact the selkirk is imported is a non-starter for me. It is a nice looking knife, though.Can we talk about competitors? Because there is one out there called a Selkirk that keeps trying to muscle in on our action. They consider that a Survival knife. Ha! I don't see that in 5160.

Pretty grain. Pleased with the purchase, all things considered?Mine arrived today... I wonder where they dig these up from? Date on the box end label is 11/20/2019, but blade date code stamp is 2020... interesting.
At any rate, the brass guard had developed Verdigris from being in the sheath for a long time.
