Here's a new wharncliffe I just finished up, it is about 7' long with about 3" of blade. It is chisel ground with a zero bevel edge which transfers to a micro bevel at the tip for even more strength. I made it out of 1/4" thick 5160 steel and did the heat treat with my digitally controlled kiln. The handle is grey paracord triple soaked with West System epoxy, this makes a durable and comfortable handle. A tek lok compatible kydex sheath comes with it. It has an acid etched forge finish with a textured fully round spine for grip and comfort, it has a satiny finish on blade, choil and some of the handle... feels good and very secure in the hand.
