This knife has a very thin blade, with a slight convex grind to help reduce friction and food stiction. The balance is about 1" farther down the blade from the heel area, but it still feels very light and nimble due to the thin blade cross section. The contouring of the bolster area really helps with a comfortable pinch grip.
Comes in a padded/zipper case.
