Stabilized cherry burl handle with a red spacer

You will enjoy his knives, they feel great in the hand and keep a good edge.

I've been waiting for the right piece from him for a while now. This is the perfect profile and size as well as price for me.

I very much agree with Mr. Drew that the heat treat is the most crucial part of producing a quality knife. It'll be nice knowing that I'm sporting a properly made blade. I can't wait to use and abuse her.

Gerry, That is a great little blade. According to a metallurgist friend you are correct in your evaluation of the importance of heat treating. Buck has done well with the 440 series for years because their heat treating is on the mark.
