52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a cork belt finish
Distal taper to the tip and butt
Stabilized and dyed maple handle
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches

The dye on the maple came out very dark which I really like but it was very difficult to photograph. This is a shot under a bright light which brings out the curl but reflects the light too. Sorry.
