Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my shop with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 and creating a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Stag handle with brass and camel bone spacers. This is a hidden tang knife with the tang going all the way back to the crown of the antler.
Overall length: 11 1/2 inches
Blade: 6 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Say, nzbs2010, since you said you are into longer bladed knives, did you see the knife referred to as rifleman's knife posted by Mr. Drew earlier on this same page? It's sold, but if you haven't seen it it has a long blade for you as well as being just flat gorgeous.

Thanks Grady, somehow I missed that post. That's a long nice blade, I'd probably taken that one if I saw it in time. But anyway as it normally goes the knife finds the right owner, whoever bought that knife should be a happy owner.
 
This is gorgeous. What was the sale price? I don't want to waste your time or mine on a knife I can't afford.

N nzbs2010 , I recommend you send GL Drew an email or PM, I bet he has something in his shop waiting to be completed. A longer blade anyway. Congrats on the bowie.
