I get a kick out of making knives for sale here at Bladeforums. I always wonder what kind of work the knife will see during it's lifetime.
Work is exactly what this knife was made for. A great all around user with a great steel.

Overall Length: 9"
Blade Length: 4 3/8"
Handle Length: 4 5/8"
Thickness: .110"
Edge angle: 15dps
4000 waterstone
Black G10, White G10 spacer, Orange G10
Stainless pins

This is Aldo's 52100 ball bearing steel. For heat treating I did a full normalization with three descending thermal cycles.
Single quench. Three tempers. The steel was very hard out of the quench, and even with 420F tempers, the edge is still very hard.
I finally got around to making myself a hunting knife, and settled on this exact design, only mine has solid orange scales. While it comes in handy when you're looking for your knife after you set it down on the ground, it isn't that eye catching. I spared the future owner of this knife that hassle, and went with mostly black. But there's still some orange there to help spot the knife on the ground!
The orange actually looks more yellow (to my eyes) in the photos due to the sun, but it is blaze orange G10, and looks blaze orange in real life.
I decided to leave off the sharpening choil on this knife. I tend to like them, but realize that many people don't. If you want a sharpening choil on it, I will be more than happy to cut one for you.

Asking ONLYSOLD free shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 States. Included will be a small leather sheath, nothing fancy and not custom, but I use it on my personal hunting knife and like it well enough.

Thanks so much! I love this knife as well. My hunting knife is exactly like this one, only solid blaze orange G10 and O7 tool steel. I LOVE IT. Thin slicer, but not too thin.

Great knife at a great price. If didn't spend $300+ on knives this morning would be taking. Keep the knives coming and will eventually pick one up. Really like your logo.

Thank you all! If you are interested in this style, but prefer wood, I do have a very similar one for sale as well. It is in W2 tool steel, and has a beautiful walnut handle, along with some jimping on the spine.

I'm a sucker for 52100 after having Dunkerley make me one that really works well on hogs. I'll take it. Always happy to support a fellow Texan. Please email me at sixtlghorn@aol.com to confirm availability. Thanks CAT
