SOLD OUT!!! . . . . . .Thanks!!!

Finding 52100 flat stock is a bit of a trick, so this could be a great opportunity for both hammer slammers and stock removers to work with this awesome steel.

Our laser programmer screwed up by not putting a 1/4" hole in the tang and ran approx. 150 of these before catching his mistake. These are not hardened and are ready for grinding!

The Specs are as follows:

Drop point hunter
OAL = 9 1/4"
Thickness = .177 (Approx. 3/16")
Blade length = 4 3/4"
Blade width = 1 1/4"
Steel = 52100

Price = $14.95 each or buy the whole batch for a 20% discount.

Shipping will be billed at actual cost via USPS. No overseas orders.

If you are interested, please email me at jerry@bussecombat.com

Thanks,

Jerry

Could you possibly include your super-secret heat-treatment protocol? Not the one for air-quenched steels, though, as I can't afford JWBlue or an asbestos suit.

This blade looks as if it was to have a fully encased handle? I imagine something along the lines of what SRKW is putting on their Battle Rat?
Looked in my file of pics and don't remember seeing any Busse with any fully encased handles?
Little help..... if you elder busse experts won't mind?

Ok I'm a little slow on the uptake tonight. Got my answer over at SRKW... Bog Dog blanks. Got it. Thanks anyways....

Anyone have any handle ideas for this one? I think that's the only thing keeping me back is that I would have no idea what to do.

It would be fairly easy to mount a slip over guard on an angle corresponding with the angle at the top of the blade/tang juncture and then use either crowned stag or wood for the handle.

Hidden tang construction using either a routed out handle or three piece slab construction (the middle piece acts as a spacer around the tang) would be pretty cool as well.

Hope this helps,

Jerry

SOLD OUT ! ! ! !!

Thanks boys!!!

We received many more requests than we have blanks!!! :eek:

These went extremely fast. First ones to get in shipping and payment info will make the list.

Thanks again,

Jerry

How the hell did I miss this one? Would've been a perfect way to practice hidden tang handles. GUess I'll have to do some wheeling and dealing with some Hog to get my grubby mitts on one of these...
