This is my Field Soprano model. The goal was to design a decent size knife w/ enough volume for general utility field use, without it being heavy. The handle's been designed for larger/gloved hands & measures at a stout 5.5" long. The handle's been skeletonized w/out taper. You can still pound w/ this one & the spine's been left at a sharp 90 degrees for firesteel. This design came from a much wider 2.5" stock, the handle has a generous natural curve/bend. This enables more comfort in the grip & helps w/ more precision in batoning tasks. Not that I'd recommend it, but in a pinch, you could even dig with this one because of the wider blade (1.625").

Blade Length: 6.5" (full flat grind)
Overall Length: 12.75"
Steel: 52100 ball bearing (tool steel)
Steel Thickness: 3/16 (oversized @ 2.08")
Handle: Black Micarta
Hardware: 5/16" 416 stainless

Price for the Field Soprano is $195.00 (Black Kydex sheath is included in price, add $20.00 for leather). Currently only accepting Paypal at this time. Payments can be made to: B_Armstrongforever@Hotmail.com

Thanks Dave, glad to hear that. Stop by again sometime, I'll have a chute knife version w/ similar handle coming up soon.
