This is a handy camp knife, summer is approaching & should be perfect for the field in many applications. The grip is extremely ergonomic & contoured for a comfortable hold. This one has been "dehorned & declawed" I left a sharp 90 degree angle on the spine for firesticks.

Blade: 6.375"
Overall:12.5:
Thickness" 3/16"
Handle: Black Countoured canvas micarta
Pins: 416 stainless

Price for this knife is $165.00 (Leather sheath is included in this price) . The sheath pops on & off your gear in a matter of seconds w/out having to unbuckle. Currently only accepting Paypal at this time. Payments can be forwarded to: B_Armstrongforever@Hotmail.com

If you have any questions PM me, or ask here.

Good grief! I don't need it, but for that price I'll take it as an opportunity to try out a new (to me) maker.

Man that sucks. I was not quick enough. That is very nice. I wanted that one.. Who did the heat treat on that and to what HR?

It's yours T1mpani. Try it out, I'm sure you'll be pleased. As soon as I can verify payment through Paypal, I'll mark this one sold.
Also responding to your PM now.

Bigeasy, I heat treat all my stuff inhouse in a temperature controlled Evenheat kiln. Brought this 52100 out to 1565 degrees & held it for about 25 mins, then it was quenched & tempered for 2 cycles @ 400 degrees. Rockwell should be on the higher end of 59/60. Normal quenching temps for 52100 is @ 1550 degrees...I knock it up a tad bit higher, for a little more stiffness/hardness after full tempering.

Thanks. Again nice knife and @ a good price point. Very good value for knife of that quality. Keep up the great work.

I'm sorry bigeasy, that handle design coupled with one of my favorite steels just melted my self control.

This knife is Sold.

William M., Mr. Akers & bigeasy, thanks a bunch for the feedback. This is an A1 camp knife, I'm waiting on some steel to show up Bigeasy, but I should have another one like this soon enough. Thanks for looking.

That looks like a great knife and outstanding value for money! Will we be seeing more of these? This would be a great knfe to woo some of the production knife crowd over :)

Holy hell! If you made a 3.5" bladed version I'd sell off a kidney to get it. Well done, sir, well done!

That red leather background is really making your micarta grips pop!

I really liked this design but since I am travelling, I can't buy it... I already have new knives at home that have been sitting unopened for a long time. :(

Keep up the good work!

Thanks fellas. Couldn't think of a better way to start the day, reading these messages....

Tell you guys what, the next couple knives I make out of my new batch of steel....I'll make #2 of these w/ slight variations between the two....& then offer each up @ the same price.

Have a few more that will come up before the next run of "Field Sopranos" actually a lesser expensive one later today....but keep your eyes peeled. Your feedback is appreciated!!
