52100 harpoon

Hi guys, here’s a harpoon in 52100 I finished up. The blade has a 1000 grit hand sanded satin finish. Here’s the specs,

52100 1/8 thick
60RC
Desert ironwood and OD green canvas scales
Brass pins and lanyard tube
8 inches overall
3 1/2 inch blade
Black holstex sheath, holes spaced for a large tek-lok

You’re correct. Hamon doesn’t cut meat. Rather it indicates the edge hardness is greater than the spine. You might never notice (or care),

I know what a hamon is. Not a newbie. Merely commenting that an artist who usually does exotic hamon's has produced a beautiful hunting knife.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I really love the 52100. I normalize and thermal cycle it just like my W2 and 1095 and I have been getting some really nice fine grain. I think the beautiful patina this blade will take after getting it bloody will be the artwork!
