Greetings all! Here’s a new pointy recurve hunter ready for your next adventure.
Steel is 5/32” x 1 ½” in 52100 with professional HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to P1200 grit for a satin finish. There is a single HT dimple on the right side. Guard is blued steel and it balances between guard and ricasso. Feels very light in the hand at only 6oz.
Dimensions: 10 15/16” OAL, Tip to Guard 6”. Edge before sharpening averaged .01” or so.
A beautiful Mesquite/Wenge frame handle is sanded to P1200 grit with 3/32” stainless pins and Campitas Turquoise accents. The handle feels great in my average sized hand with room to spare in the back.
