Hi all,
I've got a Honesuki up for sale tonight. It's 52100 steel that has a full flat grind with the lower 1/4 convexed to aid in food release. The handle is Curly Maple professionally dyed and stabilized by K&G. The photos don't do this wood justice, the depth of figure is really impressive. The pins are white carbon fiber and the liner is white G10. I acid washed the blade to darken it for effect.
Specs:
OAL: 11.5"
Blade: 6.5" long, 1.75" heel height, full flat grind with convex lower 1/4, distal taper, edge 0.005" before sharpening. Choil and spine rounded for comfort.
Steel: 0.1" 52100 from Aldo, heat treated by Peter's to RC61
Handle: Black Curly Maple professionally dyed and stabilized by K&G. White G10 liners and white carbon fiber pins.
SOLD Shipped CONUS, international buyers welcome shipping extra.
Paypal, checks and money orders accepted.

I love the shape of that blade. Is the tip a little different on this one? That wood is gorgeous as well.

Thanks, yes I've been clipping the tip of the Honesukis as of late. A bit more traditional and less Santoku-ish. The wood has nice tight curls and dyed really well, part of the reason I wanted to use it for the bolster as well

If your deal falls through for any reason I will take this one. I have been on the fence about it, but it just too gorgeous.
