52100 HT Question. Yikes!

I haven't worked with a whole lot of it yet, but I will say that Aldo's spheroidized 52100 is a dream to drill and grind. It's also a pleasure to finish and sharpen after it's hardened. I let the guys at Peters' deal with the HT, so I can't speak to that.

I'm with you on the soak time Stuart. If you'll look at what I posted it says 10-15 min.. I just wanted to be sure you understood about timing the soak after the steel gets up to temp.. This stuff is great and in my opinion it outperforms anything else in it price range.
