Last week there was a post regarding integrals. I think it was Bobbywett that wanted to see pic's, so here they are. I also posted on custom and handmade.
The spec's are 4 1/2" blade, 8 3/4" oal 52100 integral. It has a sheffield clip, thumbpatch, taper tang, 600 grit finish and NS textured pins holding on the stag scales. The sheath is the first I've made out of Wickett and Craig leather, man this stuff is nice.

Hope you like it.

Very nice knife, super clean and stylish as well. Good picture, too. But I'm most impressed by that sheath. It looks absolutely KILLER. Thanks for sharing.

Beutiful package, how's the ballance? Looks like it'd fit the hand like a glove.

This has got to be the slickest knife I've seen:thumbup: Really got me thinking about forging...

Sweet knife man
Nick:)

Really nice work, and as slick, clean, crisp and sexy as that integral turned out, I have to agree that the sheath is pretty darn exquisite too. Do you use a tippman to stitch?

To answer the two questions above, the balance is just behind the bolster area, and no I do not use a Tippman. The sheath is done by hand using linen thread. Thank you for all the compliments, I'm glad you all like it.

Very, VERY nice!

I have to dogpile here - there is nothing at all wrong with that knife, but that sheath is BEAUTIFUL!

Super work, Mike.

Very nice Mike!!!

First class all the way. I love the blade profile and the stag is gorgeous. The sheath is stunning and clean! Great work.

Thanks for showing it.

Beautiful knife and sheath! I hope someday to get back to forging and maybe attempt an integral...I've always loved the way they look.

If I may ask, what kind of dye did you use on your sheath (or is it one of Wickett and Craig's pre-dyed options?)

Fiebings russet or tan not sure, with the whole thing soaked in obernaufs to protect the knife as well as the sheath. The Obernaufs makes the sheath several shades darker.

Very nice package Mike!
Did you notice a difference in the way the W&C leather CUT? I really like the way it holds the tooling, but I it really friggin SUCKS when I am beveling the edges. My last shoulder was from Tandy and it didn't tool as well but when I beveled the edges they were really nice and crisp and smooth. Not so with the W&C. I've tried beveling the edges when wet, and it helped but still not near as nice or easy.... Just wondering if you had a similar experience with the shoulder you bought. Not sure where my next shoulder will come from but I am sure it won't be W&C or Tandy...

No problems with the W&C leather tooling and beveling, with the exception that it is tougher to cut than the Tandy stuff. My blade would glide through a piece of tandy leather like butter, while the W&C would need a couple passes. I'm still very new at the leather thing so I'm assuming the denser the better. One other thing, skiving was tougher as well with the W&C - still a density thing.
