What is the overall length? And I hate to sound ignorant, but would you please explain the ear sheath?

BTW you live in a beautiful part of the country. I spend a couple of weeks per year across the river in Calico Rock.

Bob, The overall lenght is 9 5/8" it's 3/16
' thick at the spine with a distal taper to it. False edge on the clip.
I'll try to send another picture with the ear sheath.
