Or, maybe better said as a used knife. I took this one to deer camp with me to see just how it would work in the field. See "My Test of 52100" in the Bladesmith Q and A. This has been cleaned up and offered at a slight discount for the use.

Forged from 52100 round stock
Flat grind
Slight taper on the tang
Distal tapered blade
Hand sanded to 400 grit
Cocobolo handle
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 5 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

Great job with a "tough" steel. When you hit the heat treat right, 52100 is right at the top of the list for blade steels and I know you hit that point! If apples, peanut butter and deer innards can't tarnish the finish, what more can a guy ask?
