Hey guys,

I have up for grabs today 3 of my 52100 utility hawks. 2 are blems that will be sold at a low price. I knocked my drilling vice over last week and broke it which led to two drilling misshaps and as a result 2 blems. All of these hawks come with a lifetime warranty against breakage or extreme damage. If you break it I will get you a new one and pay for the return shipping. These are great tools that are very compact and can be carried all day easily. They also chop very well and are thin and hard enough to do fine bushcraft work in the choked up position.

Wow my phone takes truly terrible pictures. So much for an 8MP camera. Also I am going out of town tomorrow and won't be back until thursday. I will not be able to ship these until Friday morning.

PM me or email me at huntsmanknifeco AT gmail DOT com for any questions.

Here are the specs

Steel- 52100 with Clay coated differential HT+ cryogenic treatment by Peter's Heat treating . 58RC edge and poll. 45RC body.
grit finish.
Pins + tube- stainless
OL length- 12.25
Bit length- 4.25
Head width 6.1
Weight- 26.5 ounces with Micarta, 30 ounces with G10. 26.5 with wood micarta laminate
thickness .200
Fully Skeletonized tang.

Hawk #1

I apologize for the crappy indoor at night pics. The pics do this one absolutely no justice.

This one is natural canvas micarta with G10 and canvas liners. Stonewashed finish. I really love the look of this one. The G10 really pops and it feels great in hand. Handles are sanded to 320 for a nice grippy finish. Looking for NOW$315 with shipping and paypal fees included in the price. Comes with a standard edge cover. A full sheath with bungee cord release is $30 extra.

Hawk #2

This is a blem. It is still covered under warranty and should be a great user if you don't mind cosmetic flaws. This one is orange G10 with a convex grind. With the extra weight of the G10 this guy will out chop just about anything out there its size and will be a great user. Here are the flaws
1.) The lanyard hold is jack up. I had a major mishap with this lanyard hold and in my attempts to fix it I only made it worse. Its functional but ugly.
2.) There are lots of scratches on the head of the hawk that can be seen through the finish
3.) the handles are not sanded to perfection. They feel fantastic but are not 100% perfect like they would be in a non blem piece.
4.) Dreaded glue line. You would not believe the logistics involved in gluing a 10 inch piece of G10 with no lines without squeezing out all the glue.

Looking for $219 shipped and paypaled with an edge cover. A full sheath with bungee release is $30 extra.

Hawk #3

This is a blem Covered by warranty but has cosmetic flaws. This one is black canvas and has 2 corby bolts added to it in addition to the pins wth a stonewashed finish. It has a thin flat grind and can slice very well. here are the flaws
1.) The bottom corby bolt is off center
2.) There is a big scratch on the head of the blade from where it hit another hawk in the vibratory tumbler.--- don't every tumble differential hardened blades together. :grumpy:
3.) There are scratches on the head that can be seen through the stonewash finish.

Looking for $219 shipped and paypaled with an edge cover. A full sheath with bungee release is $30 extra.

Edge cover example. I include bungee material that you can loop around the poll to secure the cover.

Sheath example- Sheaths will be similar to this but improved.

Nice looking hawks. I myself don't have a use or need to buy them, but if I had the cash, I would get one just for fun to chop small things XD.

Those are amazing and are awesome value for money. Those blems hardly count. Great work. Also I hope your thumb is ok (duct tape) :)

Great choice for the steel! I like the differential heat treatment and thanks for the info.

Ceptor781,

Hawk #3 is all your's. Ive included a picture of a sheath but the one it will ship with will have a slightly different look and improved function/ retention.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. And yeah, gotta love the redneck engineered bandaid. I suffered the most hipster injury of all time. I somehow managed to badly slice my thumb while cleaning out my French press coffee maker. :o

These are nice axes. I have one that I took backpacking several times this summer - it was very compact but the larger head made it much more of a chopping machine than other hawks I've tried. If you're looking for a die-hard survival axe/hatchet/hawk then this is the right place to be.

I have to say that these are really nice. The pics are pretty good - don't worry about how many pixels; it's the quality of the small camera lenses.

These hawks are very handy. I've been carrying one of these for a couple months and it chops deep and holds an edge for an impressive amount of time through oak. It's light weight makes this design an awesome companion in the pack for trail running or hiking. If I thought mine would wear out anytime soon, I'd be all over these. Good luck with your sale.

I will take backup on Hawk 2 or 3.
Great job KalEl. These look incredibly handy and well made
