This knife is 52100 steel. I can see why some makers stick with this steel. It is amazing. The blade is 4 7/8 inches long and is 3/16th thick. Handle is compressed rubber for excellent grip. Tubes are flared to help hold the handles on. I am not overly happy how they flared, and this was more of a test project. Sooooooo.......

Very nice, very sleek and functional; what kind of grind is on this one; flat or convex?
