$55.00 Knife?

I have a Buck 110 :-). I don't have a credit card, so i'm limited :-\.

I bet a lot of the online places take PayPal, which you can connect to a bank account, no need for a credit card.

Either way, I recommend a Boker Trance or a Kershaw Skyline.

My Walmarts carry them!? Maybe they were just pulled from certain stores that don't sell as well?

Well you guys are lucky because I worked there and checked every day until one of the guys there scanned it with a hand-scanner and said it was deleted. I checked 4 different stores and none of them have it.

I think the Vantage series will be some of the hottest knives for 2009:
This is the ask price at KnifeCenter for the Vantage Pro detailed below: You Pay: $47.95
I've got this on order and can't wait to get it (and the Avid too)

I thinks this is an exceptional value and its made right here in the U.S.A.

I can't think of any of the popular knife manufactures offering you this much knife for this price...

Rats! That's one I just gotta get. It maybe just went to the top of my want list. That looks like a whole lotta US-made, US-alloy goodness. Nice useful looking design as well.

A Spyderco Pacific Salt can be had for that price but you're gonna have to go through an online dealer. Awesome knife and excellent steel (H1). There are quite a few good Spydercos that can be had for that price range, they will probably be some of the best value knives.

That Vantage is sweet, does it have a over the top pocket clip?

It kinda looks like it, wow, im liking that, Thanks for the heads up Flatlander.

Peace

WR

WarRaven,

I'm not sure exactly how the clip will seat itself.
It looks like it will be a left/right tip up design seated very deep in your pocket.
I'll make some comments on this when I get my knife. g

BUCK 110 ! Tough & holds a good edge !
& a Vic. SAK Recruit & your all set for what ever the need

What do you guys think of this combination? I think i'll be generous and get the gf a knife. So I can get a CRKT Ashworth Turtle and a Kershaw Military Boot Knife for 71$ brand new and shipped. Hows that boot knife hold up to use?

Lol, the police around here are cool about things like that as long as you look respectable i dont think theyll mind. It would mainly be used around the house, in the woods or with a jacket on. But what do you guys think about the knife itself? How's the edge retention, design? etc. I love the carry options and look.

for close to $80 you can get a Rat RC-3. I noticed you are now looking at a fixed blade. If it was my money though I would look at the spydie options. I used to think I didn't like spyderco but the last five knives I purchased have been from them. At thier price point I don't think they can be beat. Awesome quality and above average blade steels.

I assume you want to give the crkt turtle to the gf? mmmh. I bought it in a whim, but I shouldn't, it's just not that useful. And I don't think it looks that elegant around a girl's neck. I do think that the miniature Moki pendants are a lot nicer.

Lol yes for the gf, i have no use for something that tiny and weird. I dunno, its a cheap lil toy all shed use it for the most is cutting thread. lol. Can you link me to the Moki one?

I think a good pick would be the CRKT M21-04. This knife is very sturdy, has a nice broad spear point blade and, of course, AUTOLAWKS. You might also consider the Byrd Cara Cara or the large CS Voyager. The FRN Cara Cara is ridiculously inexpensive and very robust. You could get three of them for $55.

The best $58.00 I have spent on a knife.....eBay of course.
Been in my pocket almost everyday since I bought it.
