556 Mini-Grip or 707 Sequel

They're both three finger knives.

Yes, they are, I was trying to say that the 707 is thinner, and feels smaller in hand than the mini grip, I should have clarified the statement. :handshake:

I've had both, also.

The 707 is a well designed and well made knife, but I really don't like mine. For some reason, it sharpens to a shaving edge, but it does not seem to hold it.

Personally, I would recommend the mini-Ritter. It is a little more expensive, but you get S30V steel and a handle that feels better in my hand. And you can get a really nifty yellow handle <g>.

The main thing that I'm looking for is a smaller knife with a 2-3 inch blade, maybe a little over three, and a total length of 7-7.5 inches. so the 707 fit pretty well into that. It has a simple design, which is what I'm wanting, but the mini grip fit it too. If you have any other suggestions that fit this criteria, I'd be appreciative.

I prefer 556. The 707 is too small in the hand, even though I prefer smaller knives. I like them both but the grip comes out on top
