560 regrind

Has anyone reground the edge on there 0560?

You mean a regrind as in reshape the blade? Personally, I don't know why you would. I might be convinced about the 0350 recurve, but I like the 0560 design.

But, everyone has different tastes and different needs.

Ive seen a few convex edges put on the 0560 if thats what you mean? Never seen a re-grind on a 0560, yet.

Yes I've seen quite a few 056x that have been reprofiled.

Re-profiled mine. Sorry, no pics but it's got a nice convex edge with a mirror finish.

Ok, Chester, those do look pretty dang good! But, the blade isn't completely reshaped which changes the look. That is a nice improvement.

You can adapt the knife to your specific needs. Change the profile and geometry changes how it will preform at different tasks.

Now I have seen a Krein 0560

Ya last I heard he stopped doing regrinds but ive been out of the knife game for a little while now. Check out Brad Southard, he also does amazing regrinds.
