LB, they are all nice... Well I love them all... I hope you got me some... I love the purple one... Mine is purple with a 110\ blade and Purple handles.... Thanks for sharing them with us... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: ... I wish Joe would let us know about the good stuff they put in the Buck Store...

Sorry I did not get the word out in time on these. It was all put together so fast. We were looking for a "cool" something knife for the BCCI to use when I located all these components. The original plan was to sell them all to the club but we decided at the last moment to sell some in the store. They were not in there for very long when I was told that someone bought them all! I did not see that coming!
If I would have really thought it all out, maybe my feeble little mind would have had the for-site to mention it here on BF. Sorry guys!

Joe is one one realy bussy guy and has so many knives i mean projects) in the air ..
well when he misses one we can only hope it dont stick him in the head!
yes by all means any one can post what they get in the store
yard sale from another buck bro!
we are proud of every one and we all like showing them off!
after all what is a ffew knives between friends like us!
we each acquire what we can if we dont get one
then maybe we were not supposed to.

I thought it would not hurt to clarify the origin of these 560's. The Buck Collectors Club, BCCI, often works with Buck to develop specials that the club can use as fund raisers. The guy that is selling a lot of the 560's now, is doing so on behalf of the club. He is not pocketing anything on the deal but passes it all on to the club. He also uses these to help promote new members.
This guy recruits more new club members each year than anyone else. He puts in a LOT of effort on behalf of the club so whenever I can find something cool, I go to him first.
We were in the process of trying to come up with something else for him to use as a promotion when I discovered these old 560 sides, hidden in the warranty archives. I remembered that we had some Ion-Fusion blades and decided to pair them up. It seemed like a perfect match, titanium handles with a titanium coated blade, match made in Heaven!
They are edged on both sides instead of only the one side. You can blame me for that. The shop asked me if they should give the knives the standard Ion-fusion one sided edge and since I personally dont like that edge, I said no.

Hi LB,
Thank you for posting your photo's. Like the others have said..."don't sweat it" and please don't worry. I look at it like this....you live near the factory and get to see some "Blue light specials", just like Kmart....you have to be at the store when the Blue light is flashing. Just one of the perk's for being there at the right time.
