No need to apologize LongBow, like Dave said, this is where we show off our cool finds!
I thought it would not hurt to clarify the origin of these 560's. The Buck Collectors Club, BCCI, often works with Buck to develop specials that the club can use as fund raisers. The guy that is selling a lot of the 560's now, is doing so on behalf of the club. He is not pocketing anything on the deal but passes it all on to the club. He also uses these to help promote new members.
This guy recruits more new club members each year than anyone else. He puts in a LOT of effort on behalf of the club so whenever I can find something cool, I go to him first.
We were in the process of trying to come up with something else for him to use as a promotion when I discovered these old 560 sides, hidden in the warranty archives. I remembered that we had some Ion-Fusion blades and decided to pair them up. It seemed like a perfect match, titanium handles with a titanium coated blade, match made in Heaven!
They are edged on both sides instead of only the one side. You can blame me for that. The shop asked me if they should give the knives the standard Ion-fusion one sided edge and since I personally dont like that edge, I said no.
