56Z motor mounting question

Today I ran across a 1/2HP 1725 RPM motor that I knew I had lying around somewhjere, but hadn't been able to find. This seems to be the perfect base for the buffer my shop desperately needs. One problem though. It's a 56Z frame motor, and I have the base bracket, but I do not have the little strappy thingies (that's a technical term ;) ) that hold the motor to the bracket. Is there some easy way to make up these straps? Any clue where I can find a picture of them to figure something out? Possibly a clue as to where I can find these silly little pieces?

Thanks in advance,

-d

would garden hose clamps work? those little things are in the same realm as ducktape, which speak of the devil...
