5th/6th Knives Finished

Just wanted to share two knives that I recently finished with everyone. They will be gifted to my father and father-in-law for Christmas. I also wanted to do leather sheaths for them as well and was pleased with the result. First time doing sheaths. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for looking.

Full flat grind, 1084, 1/8" thickness
8 1/2" OAL, 4" blade, 4 1/2" handle (quilted maple)

Those look very handy! I'm sure he will be happy with those. Good looking sheath work too!

Hengelo - To get the maple looking the way it does, I hand sanded to 500 grit, and used tung oil. I put on about 6 coats (apply, let dry, lightly rub with 0000 steel wool to remove any tackiness, reapply, etc...).
