6/10/20 update: Well he finally returned a knife to me. It is not the knife that I sent to him but it is the same model just larger. Maybe there is hope for all the others waiting?

A CROOK AND A LIAR!

  • DO NOT BUY ANYTHING DIRECT FROM "MAGIC" THROUGH THE MAIL!
  • DO NOT, ESPECIALLY, RETURN ANYTHING TO HIM FOR REPAIR.
I returned my knife for a simple tweak. I was told that it was done and shipping the next day. I was then told that it was close to being done and that it would be shipping next week several times. I had asked early on what had happened to it being done and he simply ignored the question.

After having become quite frustrated with this whole scenario and making this known to him, he simply kept responding, "everything is good", "thank you for your patience".

It has now been just over one year since this began and he will not respond. All that I want at this point is to have him return the knife as it is. He refuses to. For all that I know he has fixed it and sold it to someone else.

There are dozens of people that he has treated in the same manner!

The majority of our correspondence has been through email and well documented.

I agree. A calmer approach and some more details of what happened the past year would help. His website has contact info and says he's 24-36 months out on any orders.

Not much else to say other than he took my knife back to fix it. He said it would be done within a week. He got it back and within a week or two contacted me and told me that is was fixed and ready. Would ship tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went. I followed up and he said it was almost done and it would be shipped next week. Next week came and went and I followed up. He said the blade was out being replaced and that he would have it back next week. The n he started ignoring most of my emails. When he did answer it was the same thing shipping next week. Shipping next week became don't worry everything is fine and thank you for your patience. I was, very patient, for months and them I blew up at him asking what "don't worry everything is ok, thanks you for your patience" meant. He responded "sorry, I will do my best to ship by next Tuesday". This was nine months into the ordeal. Tuesday never happened. I emailed him and said that I was done with him and that I was going to make sure that everyone knew who he was to deal with. He never responded again.

I just want to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else. Do not trust him. I know of 20 plus people that he has done this to in one form or another. I do not expect that I will ever see my knife again. Why he could just not return it as is leads me to believe he sold it to someone else.

^ First & foremost, WD: Best of luck achieving a positive resolution, with this pathetic excuse for a, custom knife maker.

.... is it Crusader Forge or Custom Forge or did they use both names ?
