Newari tourist khukuri-

can someone tell me a little about this? Is it a "real" kuk, or just for show?

John

Mostly for sure but if you're lucky you might get some work out of it. And, I forgot to add NOT guaranteed.

Hey, everyone! Along with a bunch of other guys I just paid $100 for a 10" BDC that looks exactly like this one. And now you can pick one up for $45 off! I'm surprised it's still here at that price as that has to be close to cost.

Someone had better grab it quick or I'll get a second one just for trade goods! :)

Regards,

Norm

The perfect "do everything"...

I'm interested in the Kobra. I'm new to this so I was hoping someone could help me out. What does "usual Sher features" mean? Also what does it mean when it says "Superglue fix crack in handle"? How do you go about paying for it? Thanks. -Lev

Some kuks- most typically horn handles- have small cracks in them. Typically, they're cosmetic, but if one wants to squeeze some epoxy or super glue in there, just to be sure...I did this with the sirupati I just received, then followed up with some shoe polish.

Yeah, I see the HI Seaxes going for 50-65USD, and we who paid for the ones from the initial run paid 110USD fer 'em.
