Hell, maybe you'll get past all the engraving and find out it really is a good piece of steel? (But I guess Uncle Bill could have told that with his eyes shut just by how it felt?) Tourist model or not, someone put a lot of work into the sheath anyway...

Nasty, I don't think you should destroy it- unless because of all the recent upsets that might be an interesting thing to do. I think you should give it to someone who has never had a khuk, and not as a joke. Now, flail away.

munk - I've already given several away to friends who have never had a Khuk before...and they were not villagers, uncorrected blems or tourist models.

I'll tell you what...when it arrives, I'll take pics and we'll do a vote for a three days. At the end of that time, the vote will decide if I: test it to destruction (if I can), keep it as an example of tourist art, or give it away to someone who's never had one. Fair enough?
