I’m still trying to figure out what is wrong with my e-mail account. I’ve already sent you the payment through Paypal for the GRS, and I hope that you have received it. Sometime this afternoon I will try to communicate with you using another e-mail account.

Jose I don't know what kind of an email account you have but it may behoove you to get a Hotmail or Yahoo mail account for mailing Uncle Bill about any specials you want.

You can have a draft all ready to go in either one, I think, with your mailing address and other pertinent information already listed so all you would have to do is add the information telling Bill how and when you're gonna pay him and which khuk you want.
Saves lots of time and several of the guys here do just this.
Keeping an unfinished draft in your email is a smart thing to do when dealing with the Great White Sharks swimming around here.;) :D

I prefer the Yahoo mail over the Hotmail as it doesn't seem to be as much trouble to keep the account open. With Hotmail you have to use it at least once a month or it expires.:( :grumpy:

Thank you Yvsa, I opened a Yahoo account and sent Uncle Bill and e-mail with it. I hope it gets through. :)

Lucky (or unlucky!) for me that I am seeing this thread a day late. I would have jumped on that wood handled Malla in a heartbeat. Whoever got it, you're going to love it!

I received the chiruwa WWII today. Very nice knife, and as usual it is "what rust?". Great form, not a blemish on the sides, great hammering by Kumar. The handle, as can be seen a little in the picture, is a lighter-color wood than usual, with very nice figure. Perhaps it didn't get as much red rouge than usual, but to my eye it it more like a walnut color rather than the usual reddish-brown. Should look great with a little tru-oil. Chakma and especially karda are very good size. Great stuff, thanks Uncle, Yangdu, Kumar, & crew!
 
I recieved the Malla today. vey impressed! This is my first "real" Khukuri. Much nicer than the A.C. versions I've had in the past.

I can feel a new addiction taking over....


The sheath is fine, the "blemish" will not normally be visible, as it is on the back side. I almost feel guilty getting this at such a good price, but not guilty enough to sell it!
