Butch,
Great looking knife!:cool: I do have two questions that others will probably ask if I don't.

What is the purpose of the butt design on this knife?

Is there a change in the grind of the knife along the edge as you move forward and get close to the tip? I can't tell from the pics, but it almost looks like an americanized tanto, not in profile but along the mirror polished side of the blade. I don't know if I am explaining this well. :(

the tail is a bottle cap lifter (if it was make or brake i can "take it off)
while the tip is not quite as thin as the rest of the grind it is in fact on continuous grind. the 2nd pic shows some reflection and thats how it looks a little tanto
it is hard for me to catch both the mirror bevels and hand sanded flats in the right light im working on it tho

This is one kick-ass knife. As with most of Butch's work, I get to see it before you guys do. The wood on this one is extra sweet...pictures don't do it justice.

The bottle opener is perfect for Germany!!!!
My uncle worked at a brewery and one thing he always tought me was that I always needed a bottle opener (yes I'm serious).
I wish I had the money!!

Damn, that's a goodlooking knife. I've spent my knife budget for the month otherwise I'd snatch that one up. I hope you keep that pattern in your catalog.

Wow, I think that's my favorite of the knives I have seen you turn out so far!! Great looking handle too!! Good work!

Can't believe this is still here at that price! That's a really great piece of wood!
Matt
