6.69" full tang camper

Hello everybody!

Following my recent full tang EDC, I decided to make a camping knife using the same technique. Doing an heirloom fit on the scales is really growing on me! Also, on this one I decided to do a tapered tang as well, something I have not done in years.

Steel: 80CrV2
Handle: burnt oak scales and peened brass pins

Dimensions:
Overall length: 30.5 cm - 12.00''
Blade length: 17 cm - 6.69''
Blade width: 4.6 cm - 1.81''
Blade thickness: 5 mm - 0.196''
Handle length: 12 cm - 4.72''

Flat grind with a convex edge, the clip is not sharp (can't be). Tapered tang. My pictures are quite awful, the video in HD is a better representation.

It comes as is or with a brown leather sheath. The sheath is not ready yet, you can choose for either left or right side carry.

Maybe my favorite blade of yours yet.... Really nice all around with character!

What's the cutting length?
Does the handle length only include the area with scales? Wasn't sure where the "choil" falls... blade length or handle length...

The blade length of 6.69" is the pure cutting edge which covers between the red lines.
The handle length does cover only from the front of the scales to the back end between the blue lines.

The ricasso is roughly 0.59" only accounted for in the total length.

I "liked" your response but wanted to thank you for taking the time! I appreciate that! How long is the grip area between the front of the scales and the front of the birds beak hook? Likely not in the market due to attempts toward fiscal responsibility haha, but do like this one!

I had the chance to measure it today. The length from the front of the scales to the front of the birds beak is 3.93"
