I decided to try a longer (6") thicker (1/4") blade on this model and it worked like a charm! The extra 1 1/2" of blade lenght coupled with the 1/4" 5160 stock turned this knife into a much more versatile camping tool as they improved balance and the knife´s performance on chopping or other heavier uses. As usual, it is sellectivelly heat treated with a nice temper line cruzing the blade, has all corners rounded for comfort in use and the tang is painted black for rust resistance under the cord wrap. Comes with a leather sheath.
