6" Blade - Fixed blade knife recommendations

Will have to check out the Bucks as a lower-cost alternative.
Seems like the Fallknivens are a common top choice where stain-resistant steel, value, durability, and quality is needed.

Any other ideas for stain-resistant steel bladed knives.
~6" blade, <$200, full tang, etc.
Even discontinued knives are an option - any thoughts?

Thank you!
Mike

Take a look at some of the spyderco hossom fixed blades. Not going to win any prybar competitions but they have excellent ergos and a cutting oriented blade profile.

Any of the SOG Bowies would be fine too, all but the SUPER SOG bowie are approx 6 inches, I especially like the Trident with Micarta handles. The tech Bowie comes with a kydex sheath, and the Seal Team is nice too but about 7 inches. BUT I'd stick w/ Fallkniven.

The Fallkniven S1 is a 5" blade - Can't go wrong with that one IMO. It is a good cutter but too thick to be an excellent cutter. OTOH it is a very durable knife that is suitable for light prying & digging.

Staying within the size range & still using decent stainless steels you have the Blackjack Grunt - one heck of a knife & very underrated by all but those who own one IMO.

The Cold Steel SRK is now made from stainless. It and the old Junglee Drop Clip knife are decent, inexpensive knives that would fit the bill.

You may want to look at Entrek knives for more choices in stainless. Buck's 119 Special and Nighthawk are also contenders. These are all manufacturers with which I have had some personal experience...
