Hello,
Today I have 6 bushcrafters available in various micarta's, wood and a couple different steels as well.
This basic design was introduced to me by our fellow member
RabidRat
a while back and I have been making little changes here and there to create a budget friendly, reliable bushcrafting/outdoors knife, I hope you like them!
The biggest change to this new variation is to the butt of the handle, the butt has been beveled to allow for a couple things, you can use it for light hammering and it also allows a lanyard to stick out the back of the handle instead of coming out the sides and potentially causing a hot spot.
The finish on these is what I call a heat treat black.
Some have convex grinds, some have flat grinds and though they have quite beefy stock, all of them come down to a relatively thin convex/Appleseed edge.
General specs are as follows:
(Please note that all measurements are approximate and will vary slightly from blade to blade)
HRC: 61
Blade length: 5.5"
Handle length: 4.75"
Overall length: 10.25"
Blade thickness: 0.264"
Weight: 13 OZ
Specs for CPM 3V blade are as follows:
HRC: 61+-
Blade length: 5.48"
Handle length: 4.75"
Overall length: 10.23"
Blade Thickness: 0.225"
Weight: 12.1 OZ
From top to bottom here is a list of materials, grinds and prices for each knife:
#1 52100 flat ground blade, Katalox handle, brass pins $old shipped within the US
PASSAROUND #2 52100 convex ground blade, mesquite handle, copper pins gone shipped within the US
#3 52100 flat ground blade, maroon linen micarta handle, brass pins $old shipped within the US
#4 52100 flat ground blade, white linen micarta, black micarta pins $old shipped within the US
#5 52100 convex ground blade, OD green canvas micarta, black micarta pins $old shipped within the US
#6 CPM 3V convex ground blade, black/green canvas micarta, SS pins $old shipped within the US
And for an added fee of $10 I'm happy to add a sharpening choil if you like!

These do not come with sheaths, but if you would like me to make you one please let me know!
Thanks for looking! If you have any questions or comments please let me know!
