Hi. I'm mostly a lurker here but back in Sept. I got talking to Will York about a sheath I made for a FFBM. ... INFIcted!

I've owned a few Busses in the past, a BATAC 2007SE (twice as the first was stolen), a Game Warden, and an FFBM but never hung onto any knife very long.
Being light of pocket I couldn't keep'em if I wanted to check out other knives.

Well that sheath making venture had me buying a NMFBM and it reminded me of my since gone but truly missed FFBM. Awesome knife.
There it began... and now since Oct of this year I have:
NMFBM
NMSFNO
BATAC LE #757
BAD

and in the mail,
CF Sarsquatch
Game Warden

It took a couple hours but I convexed the edge on the BAD last night and damn this is the finest little knife I have yet owned. The profile and geometry are perfect for a general EDC. Back when I had the BATAC SE I remember thinking how insanely sharp INFI could get and I could never quite get as fine an edge on my other knives. Well I had forgotten how crazy the INFI edge can be. Convexed and stropped with my brushed bull strop and .25 micron diamond spray from HandAmerican and this thing is dangerous to try shaving with as it nips at the skin!

Man I love this BAD!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Next on my list... or rather on my wish list .. FBMLE and even more I would dearly love to get my hands on an AK-47!!
I need a better job.:o

I can't seem to get a good shot of the edge.

I've been around mostly through my sheath work on others' post but I thought it's been long overdue to make my introduction.

Hello.. my name is Stuart and I'm an INFIholic.
:D

Welcome Stuart, we are here to help you with your addiction,

and those next on your list are GREAT choices.

Congrats on the infi you already have!!

All bases covered! Nice collection!!! Thanks for sharing.:D

Welcome and congrats on your Infi start. Now sit down and let's pour you a nice cup of Kool-Aid.......Ohhhhhh Yeahhhhhhhhh!

Hey Stuart

Looks like you re-location to the Island only fueled your addiction. hope you're doing well there.

mike

Welcome to the madness. Good to see another Canuck INFIcted. Nice start on the collection.

Nice collection, but we want to see the sheaths you make for yourself :)

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Yeah Mike, maybe the island air has the INFI virus.

Nice collection. Why are you selling the BATAC?

I came to my senses a couple hours after posting it and cancelled the sale :p I have some custom knives for sale that aren't moving and these latest doses of INFI has stretched my account a little too far... That and a new water tank for the house:grumpy:
Well, we can all eat KD for a little while until something else sells..

Actually the ones I use for myself are a couple belly scraps rivetted together.:(
With a couple young kids I have little time for my own sheaths.:p

This is my favorite that I did make for myself but that knife was recently traded for my present favorite: my BAD:thumbup:
A trade well worth it IMO

Is that a kydex sheath wrapped in leather? Or all leather? LOOKS GREAT!

Thanks!! It's a regular leather inner sheath covered in deertan sheepskin and rawhide lacing.
The sheepskin really took the dye well and has an effect I can't really describe; like stripes but also little dots like emu/ostrich skin. It was also very soft. I really did like that sheath. It was a great knife but ultimately I could never get to carrying it at all so my BAD is a much more useful and savage little blade.

I really like my BAD too, but need a nice leather sheath that matches the one I have for my NMFBM :D

When does production start?

I'm interested in learning how to correctly strop to make an edge convex or to sharpen one. You said that you used .25 micron diamond spray from HandAmerican. Excuse my ignorance, is this spray that can be picked up at the hardware store. Is diamond spray more abrasive or is tis simply the name....really don't know any info would be good. Nice collection of knives and great work.
