6" EDC with WOW wood

I agree with everyone else who has seen this knife. It's a beauty.
You did a great job shaping and finishing the handle. I think your wow wood transformed a really nice knife into an unforgettable knife.

Thanks again guys. Lifters leather pocket sheath will be another element that takes this knife up a notch!!

Rough up everything with 60 grit and used 5 ton.

Very nice! It reminds me of an FN Mauser I had years ago. The stock had that same mix of color.

Brian,
I think your knife turned out beautifully! Question on the liner material (I am just starting out). I see a lot of people using this setup, but nobody seems to say exactly what they are using. Is it fiber, plastic, micarta? I just recieved 2 sets of really amazing Ironwood burl and think it would look extra nice with the liner, but am unsure where to find it. Any pointers would be great! Thanks

Gabriel

Call any knife making supplier and ask for liner material. They will get you what you need. Look up pops knife shop. I like the thicker variant. .030 in trhickness.

Very nice work Brian, I like it

You mentioned that you used it in a different way from what you are used to.
What did you do different ? Add liners ? Or, do you normally cut the sapwood out, using only the darker stock ?

Whatever you did............ it looks outstanding !!
