Hi guys this is my spin on a Japanese Honesuki chef blade.
It includes a western style handle with Macassar Ebony wood native to Southeast Asia.
Steel: Alabama damascus hand sanded to 800 grit and heat treated by Peter's to RC60
Handle: Macassar Ebony with black liner and black micarta pins
OAL: 10 1/2"
Blade length: 6"
Heel height: 1.75"
Thickness: 0.10" at the handle, 0.030" near the tip
Edge thickness behind the edge: 0.010"
