I am interested in one of these Kiridashi's you have above. It is really hard to tell the difference between the models from the pictures. What is real difference between the curved and straight? what is the difference between Curved #1 and #2?

Hey David, this is one of those times when a group photo would have been the best solution to your answer from the start. The differences are slight changes in width and grind height between the two styles.

Yep, the $50 covers shipping also and that was the Curved #1.

I only have a small traditional blade shaped one, I haven't quite mastered the modern one yet.
