I have 6 slim handle paring utility knives, user grade,
excellent slicers, put these to work in your kitchen.
These have a thin hard edge suitable for slicing.
Hitachi blue steel core with mild steel outer.
These will develop a patina.
3 are shown here, 6 available, all in the same basic profile and size.
blade lengths -4 to 4.5"
OAL - about 9"
slim handle of Wenge wood.
I'm asking $100 each incl USA priority mail shipping
I can make simple tanned leather slip case for $15 each (snap rivets)
3 sold, 3 left
I also have this utility hunter in white steel core with engraved nickel silver guard.
The story on this that I had some fit and finish problems and was going to keep this for myself.
I thought I'll get it engraved and it came out quite nice.
I'm thinking someone might love this!
Comes with a kydex sheath or you can have a leather sheath similar to the one shown for an additional $60. Leather sheath will take an additional week.
This is also a user grade knife, but a prettier one
Iron wood handle, red liners. Hitachi white steel core, mild steel outer layer.
4.5" blade
9 1/8" OAL
less than 1/8" at the spine, this is a slicer,
let's try this at $275 (reduced) with kydex
You can read more about this knife design and edge quality here - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Handforged-Utility-Hunter-review-(white-steel!)
In my opinion, the beauty of a high carbon steel core is that you can make a very keen edge, it has superior sharpness, good edge retention and ease of re-sharpening.
All blades are forged and heat treated in a water quench and then tempered by me to a hardness RC about 63+, using bladesmithing as taught to me by Murray Carter.
Payment is via PayPal, check or money order.
Free priority mail shipping in the US. International is ok, shipping to be quoted
