Hi All,

Just found an old Delica I lost 6 years ago. I moved to the DC area when I joined the PD and purchased a brand new half serrated Delica. About a week later I lost it. That was April 2002.

Yesterday, I was looking under my driver's seat for something and there it was, sitting there, plain as day.

Needles to say I'm a little happy about it. I had bought the Endura back then to replace it and it still serves me well.

Anyway, looks like minor rust on the spine and a streak on the clip. I took pictures but I think you need to have them on a website to post.

Ok, here we go.

Took some nevr dull to it and it removed most of it. Still seems to have left dark spots. Almost looks like heat discoloration.

Glad you found your knife. I can't believe it was under your seat for 6 years and you never noticed it there. Good to be reunited!
 
I have a great Spyderco Military that I lost a few years ago. I looked and looked and a year later my next door neighbor brought it to me.

It had fell off the 'boat' in the driveway and was outside for a year.

Needless to say it looked rough. My buddy cleaned it up and sharpened it back to life.

It is one of my fav EDC and I am looking to get another!
 
I've heard soaking rusty metal items in Coca Cola removes the rust quite effectively. Might wanna try that!
